Blue Jackets Pull A Cleveland Monsters Defenseman For Buffalo Game Tomorrow Night In Place of Carlsson

It's been a busy day, and it isn't over yet 5th Line.  Now that we know the NHL and NHLPA have agreed to not shut down due to a Covid-19 surge, among both players and staff, we can look ahead to tomorrow night's Blue Jackets game.  They are set to play the Buffalo Sabres, in New York, and after three players were put on the teams Covid-19 list, this morning, we now know a Monster's player has been called up.

The player called is Jake Christiansen.  He is currently a Defenseman for the Cleveland Monsters, and with only Gabriel Carlsson out for the Blue Jackets, due to Covid-19 protocells, it is highly suspected that he will fill such role tomorrow evening.  Him being listed as an "emergency recall" only makes this theory more likely.  (@JacketsInsider).  If this ends up being the case, this will be Christiansen's very first NHL game.  Should he take the ice we wish him the very best of luck, as well as the entire Blue Jackets team, in New York!

Go CBJ!

With Gabriel Carlsson in protocol, Christiansen seems ticketed to make his NHL debut tomorrow in Buffalo. #CBJ"
