Defenseman David Savard will miss eight weeks with an injury to his right ankle."

I sincerely wish Savard the best as he recovers from what sounds like a very serious ankle injury. The Canadians have had a very rough season. As I've said before in my posts, yes we've dropped some games, but there are other teams far worse off than ourselves. This is a prime example of such.
Also, a reminder that tonight, as we play in Canada for the firs time in over a month, "pandemic hockey" has returned in the country. This means, as stated in the Postgame show Thursday evening, that there will be no one in the arena aside from players and coaching staff.
Tonight, the game starts at 7:00 PM EST. So, if you want to watch the NFC Championship game, set for 6:30 PM EST, do what I plan to do. (Yes, I'm watching even though my team got knocked out in the first week, because it's football.) Football on the TV and hockey on the laptop. It does work!
