Zach Werenski Now OUT Also: 4/17/22

When it rains it pours 5th Line.  It took no time for Werenski to leave the ice in Period 1, at the Ducks, tonight.  Jeff Svoboda just retweeted this announcement from the CBJ Public Relations account, AKA the Twitter of bad news regarding injured players, no offense to them.  Tweet reads the following:  "INJURY UPDATE: #CBJ defenseman Zach Werenski suffered an upper body injury in the first period and will not return to tonight’s game." So, this has happened and now we're without Patrik Laine and Zach Werenski. Not a great night at all. A score update, the Ducks are currently leading us in goals, 3-1. On the upside, Blankenburg seems ready to help the remaining defenders on the Blue Jackets team. Very happy we signeed him now for sure.

Good luck, CBJ.
