Bobrovsky And Panthers Face Elimination Tomorrow After Lightning Take Game 3 In Round 2- 5/22/22

It's a bit stunning to me.  I expected this to be a hard fought series, which would all come down to a winner-take-all Game 7.  After what the Rangers accomplished against the Penguins, coming back from a 3 games to 1 deficit to take the series 4 games to 3, a comeback isn't impossible.  However, in that situation the Rangers had 1 game won at least.  Currently, the Presidents Trophy Winners, who had the most points this NHL Season, have yet to win a game in Round 2.  So, to say they are in a do or die situation isn't just real, it's shocking to a lot of fans, I'm sure.

Today's final was 5-1, again in favor of the Tampa Bay Lightning.  They lead this series 3 games to 0.  Game 4 is in the Tampa Bay Lightning stadium tomorrow evening at 7:00 PM EST.  The game will be televised on TNT.

In regards of former Blue Jackets, Sergei Bobrovsky had 36 shots on his net, letting 5 through.  Again, let's not play the blame game.  It isn't just the goaltender who prevents goals on the ice.  With that being said, it's the final countdown for the Panthers.  They have to show up tomorrow night with everything they've got and more...or I fear it will be my final blog post for Sergei Bobrovsky in this 2022 Post Season, along with his Florida Panthers.  So, let's hope they can fight and turn this isn't a series, instead of swallowing a rough series sweep.
