Not the Florida Panthers Night, Lose Game 1 To Lighting 4-1 on 5/17/22

The game started out great for the Florida Panthers, they would score the first goal of the night and Round 2 Stanley Cup 2022 Series.  Sadly, this would be their only goal of the night.  The Lightning would go on to score 4 goals, without an answer from the Panthers, they would go on to win this game 4-1.  If anything, this win has proven that the Lightning can win, even if Brayden Point is out injured.

All in all, former Columbus Blue Jacket Goaltender Sergi Bobrovsky didn't have a horrible night.  Out of 36 shorts on his Panthers net, 32 never made it through.  Tonight, penalties and the goal challenge which didn't go the Panthers way, didn't help their efforts to win.  I feel Game 2 of this series might go a bit better for the Panthers.  Why?  It seemed as if the team was learning how to work against the two time defending Stanley Cup Winning Tampa Bay Lightning team.  It's definitely no small task to accomplish such.  If they can though by Game 2, this series could change dramatically.  Given I'm covering the former Blue Jackets, this is my hope.  I don't want to see this become a quick series, but rather see Round 2 series as competitive as Series 1.

Good luck to the Panthers and Bobrovsky, we'll see them play the Tampa Bay Lightning again on Thursday evening.  This game will again be in the Panthers arena as they will act as the home team again.  You can view this game on the TNT Network (check your local listings for time).
