Oilers Shutout Kings In Game 7, Ensuring A Canada Team In Round 2! 5/15/22

Canada still has a horse in the game, after a 2-0 Shutout for the Oilers in a Game 7 they forced after a Game 6 win!  No points in this game for former Blue Jacket Kris Russell, but he has another series of opportunities.  Again, another great handshake moment of respect for fellow players of the game, at the conclusion of said game.  Also, this was just another well played game.  Congratulations to the Oilers on the Shutout win, but no doubt, this was a game well executed by both sides.  With that being said, well done to Mike Smith, the Oilers Goaltender on such an outstanding post-season achievement.

Tomorrow night will be incredibly fun for those in Canada.  We'll find out who this team will take on in the Second Round.  It will come down to another Game 7, this between the Flames of Calgary Canada and the Stars of Dallas.  Meaning, Canada could face off in Round 2, if the Flames can take down the Stars.  It's hard to believe how rich these Playoffs are, and it's only the conclusion of Round 1.  Amazing.

The Dallas Stars and Calgary Flames will meet tomorrow night, check your local listings for times.
