Panarin And HIs Rangers Force Game 6 With 5-3 Win In Madison Square Garden, Crosby Leaves Injured. 5/11/22

With an assist on Goal 2, former Columbus Blue Jacket Artemi Panarin would add another point to his 2022 Post-Season record!  The Rangers would then add another goal in the second period, tying the game at 3-3.  In the third period the Rangers would tack on a 4th goal, before finishing with an empty net goal in the final seconds.  5-3 would be the final.  Now having forced a Game 6, the Rangers will head to the Penguins home of Pittsburgh.

Something which could make Game 6 and the remainder of this series interesting, more so than it already has been anyway, is the fate of Penguins Captain Sidney Crosby.  After taking a hit from a Ranger in Period 2, he left the game shortly after.  He never returned.  Crosby is a vital part of this Penguins team, kind of like pasta to a pasta salad.  The veggies in the salad are great, but without the pasta, it's not a pasta salad.  Without Crosby, the Penguins aren't really the full Penguins team.  More or less, this is why he's their Captain, also.

We'll have to see if Crosby is available on Friday evening, when the Penguins play Game 6, with the Rangers.  Puck drop is set for 7:00 PM EST on TNT.
