Dean Kukan Leaves Columbus Blue Jackets- 6/1/22

The rumors have been confirmed today by Jeff Svoboda, the @JacketsInsider on Twitter.  It's a sorrowful goodbye and good luck, as Defenseman Dean Kukan leaves the Columbus Blue Jackets.  He will be staying home for the 2022-23 Season, playing with his home country of Switzerland.  He played great there in the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships 2022, and to me I think that made his choice a bit easier.  Add in the fact this is home for him and I'm not surprised, just happy I got some great pictures of him this season before he left.

In his 6 Seasons with the Columbus Blue Jackets, Dean Kukan appeared in 153 games.  He had 5 goals and 25 assists for a total point count of 30.
